Welcome, weary traveller. Make a coffee. Put up your feet up. And join us for a look at the heritage which is often ignored because, well, it’s just a bit too strange.

True life, they say, is stranger than fiction; and they’re not wrong. Our remit, here at High Strange Heritage, is to look  the unusual straight in the eyes. With a training and storytelling remit, this involves lots of storytelling, written and spoken; working with local communities to uncover and preserve their local heritage; uncovering some of the stranger and more enchanting national heritage stories that have not yet hit the headlines;  and using artefacts and the visual to learn more about this wonderful, complex globe of ours.
